According to their performance and characteristics, they are also known as rubber air stroke regulators and rubber air isolators. They are two product names. Rubber air springs are divided into three categories according to their shape: bladder type, membrane type, and sleeve type. According to the sealing structure, it can be divided into four categories: pressure self sealing, wheel flange clamping, hoop sealing, and hybrid. The load of rubber air springs is mainly borne by the cord, and the number of layers of the cord is mainly composed of 2 layers. Products with special requirements are composed of 4 layers of cord. The inner layer of rubber mainly serves as a seal, while the outer layer of rubber not only serves as a seal, but also serves as a protection.

The end structures of existing curved bag rubber air springs can be divided into three categories based on the connection method: one type is fixed flange connection type, where the edge dimensions of both ends of the air spring are equal to or slightly smaller than the maximum outer diameter of the curved bag, and after drilling several holes, they are tightly connected with a flange ring and an end plate; The other type is the looped flange connection type, where the edge dimensions of the two ends of the air spring are much smaller than the maximum outer diameter of the curved sac, and there is no need to drill holes. A special flange ring and an ordinary end plate are used to fasten the connection; The third type is self sealing, without flange connection. It is pressed into the end plate and filled with compressed air to self seal.

There are five structural forms of flange sealing between the end of the rubber air spring and the connecting plate: LHF type, JBF type, GF type, HF type, and ZF type.
